Surrender is a body of work that explores the quiet strength found in letting go.

It reflects the process of yielding to change, embracing uncertainty, and discovering beauty in impermanence. Born from a period of deep personal transformation, the series traces the movement from resistance to acceptance—the moment when struggle softens into flow.

Each piece emerges through an intuitive, layered process that balances tension and release. Plaster, papier-mâché, and reclaimed materials intertwine to create organic forms that appear to dissolve into one another, mirroring the dissolution of boundaries within the self. The subdued palette and tactile surfaces evoke stillness, inviting the viewer to slow down and enter a state of contemplation.

Surrender speaks to the act of trusting what unfolds, even when it defies control. It reveals the quiet resilience that follows release—the calm that rises after collapse. In both life and art, surrender becomes a form of renewal, an invitation to find peace not through mastery, but through acceptance of what is.
