One of the studio’s foundational designs, the Opus Side Table has been part of Hélène König Studio since its inception. Its composition brings together a grounded cylindrical base and a series of geometric planes, creating a sculptural silhouette shaped by balance, proportion and subtle asymmetry.
Built by hand through successive layers of papier-mâché and plaster, its softened transitions and gently irregular surface retain the traces of its making. The restrained finish draws attention to the form itself, allowing Opus to hold a soft yet distinct presence within a space.
