One of the studio’s foundational designs, the Nova Side Table has been part of Hélène König Studio since its inception. It is defined by its low, architectural composition. A series of offset planes gather around a central column, creating a sculptural form that shifts between stability and movement as it is viewed from different angles.
Built by hand through successive layers of plaster, its softened edges and gently irregular surface temper the geometry of the piece. Subtle asymmetries and visible traces of making give Nova its individual character, allowing it to sit between functional object and sculpture.Part of the permanent Structures series and made to order, Nova has also been featured in Marie Claire.
