UPCYCLED VASE WORKSHOP FEB 21ST 10AM-1PM

$99.00Price

21st of February 2025

At Sunup - 1/81 Centennial Cct, Byron Bay NSW 2481

From 10 am - 1pm

Join me for a relaxed and immersive 3-hour creative workshop exploring the art of up-cycled vessels.

In this hands-on session, you’ll begin with a pre-prepared vase base, already layered with papier-mâché, allowing us to dive straight into the creative process. I’ll guide you step by step through the finishing techniques, from building texture and form to refining the surface, sharing the methods I use in my own studio practice.

By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind vase, ready to be styled as a decorative piece in your home.

The experience is designed to be slow, social and nourishing, with a selection of light snacks and drinks provided, encouraging conversation, curiosity and creative flow.

No prior experience is required, just a willingness to explore, get your hands dirty, and enjoy the process.

-All materials provided
-Snacks and drinks included

If you prefer to take your vase home on the day to continue painting or decorating it yourself, you are very welcome to do so. Please note that in this case, final sealing and varnishing will be your responsibility.

Health & Safety

This workshop involves hands-on making and the use of art materials. Participants agree to take part at their own discretion and follow any guidance provided during the session.

Handmade Nature of the Work

Each piece created during the workshop is handmade and unique. Variations in texture, form and finish are a natural part of the process and embraced as part of the final outcome.

Photography & Promotion

Occasional photos or short videos may be taken during the workshop for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let me know on the day.

Late Arrivals

To keep the workshop flowing for everyone, late arrivals may miss certain steps. Unfortunately, extra time cannot be added to make up for late arrivals.
