Part of Duality, Continuum #2 explores the space between continuity and rupture. An organic, hand-built form is held within the precise geometry of a Tasmanian oak frame, creating a contrast between the structure of the timber and the shifting contours of the sculptural surface.
Its intersecting planes respond differently to changing light, allowing certain areas to emerge while others recede into shadow. As the work changes throughout the day, its form appears suspended between states, echoing the tension of moving forward while remaining connected to what came before.
